Meeting my men-clients visiting our office here in Odessa I am asking actually of each of them: what does it mean if a lady’s language level is “2”, “3”… etc. Can she understand my letter? Can she speak a language?
We have description of each language level to give it to girls when they fill our entering forms so that they could define their knowledge. Since last week we added these descriptions directly into profiles of each lady. So, our men clients also have this info available! However this info in the profiles are mostly for those who just starts communication from the far away (writing letters).
I would add the speaking skills definition to the profiles’ descriptions. It can be important for those of you who prepares trips to FSU and are going to meet ladies in person.
So, a lady starts to be able to communicate since her language level crosses “3”. Some girls of the level “3” still need a help of interpreter, some can express themselves more or less well. The point is that except vocabulary there is another factor psychological. If you learnt a foreign language ever in the past you may remember that it’s not easy to start pronounce those words that you could read only in a books before. Ladies who met foreigners before and have at least a little chance to practice will be sound more skilled, but if you are the first foreigner that she met … Be ready that she will hardly tell a word.
I must admit that working in this business for 5 years I can see a huge progress in this field! Believe or not, but still 3 years ago 99% ladies had English level “1” what means actually NO skills to read/understand English. Now most of my girls define their level as “3” and I believe the average level will continue to improve. At least we at Charming Lady explain ladies every day how important it is if they make decision to marry a foreigner!

Actually she has a Master degree in French (level “5”) and English (level “4”). I don’t understand WHY her address was retrieved only 3 times??? More over, she received only 1 letter!!! Men, open your eyes !!!
